Phases

I ain’t the noor of someone’s eyes.
I hide behind the clouds
Often, I run toward the lights.
Do not ask me
What or who I am.
Where the ending begins and the beginning ends
Lies the absence of
Something which I am, but I don’t want to remain.
I do not know. I do not know.
A moon goes through phases, and
So do I.
You, on your part, may hold on to me
A little longer than a little while.
Everything will be okay
I promise you,
I will be… Just fine.

Take care,
❤️

I loved these lines. 💙 What an interesting and deep poem, Ayush. You’re nailing the challenge. 😕 I’ll also write a poem, huh.

A little longer than a little while.” was something worth praising this afternoon, It was a chill in the month of November. Beautifully written Prashant.
